Introducing the FLOORDRUM EVO (Evolution).
This model comes with many new features, including a new control console based on a touchscreen,
which is actually a well-integrated smartphone that comes with the Floordrum.
The standout feature of this new model is an innovative and clever solution for playing the hi-hat in semi-automatic mode.
You have access to a library of patterns and the ability to create your own.
After a short count-in on a pad of your choice, these patterns can be triggered by one of the pads ( configurable in the menu )
and be played for the number of measures you have set with the instrument of your choice.
This means you can set everything and store it in the settings of the specific Kit.
The most remarkable aspect is its ability to adapt to your playing, following your slight variations and any potential imprecisions.
It adjusts the tempo based on your playing by sensing and listening to the trigger pad.( normally the Kick or Snare pad )
There are two virtual pads/tracks for this feature that can be combined or also toggled.
For that on the Floordrum you have two Footswitches.
The Reset Footswitch has multiple functions . Longpress to reset the BPM
and normal press for toggling from track 1 to track 2
allowing you to switch maybe from hi-hat to ride or Tambourin.
There is also a Footswitch for pausing completely the auto feature.
You can obviously use this feature for any other instruments you have set in the virtual tracks.
For example you could have the hihat on one track and combine it with a cowbell for songs like Honky Tonk woman.
Or maybe you can use a rimstick for creating Bossanova patterns ( even programmed by yourself)
So this means it is a very powerful feature you can use if you want or not use at all.
