GROOVE ASSIST – Next-Level Rhythm Control
A revolutionary feature that helps musicians play hi-hat and other rhythmic patterns effortlessly. This smart assist system allows you to set up and trigger two independent tracks with different instruments and patterns, unlocking endless groove possibilities.
In the app, a dedicated Groove Assist section enables you to create custom patterns from scratch with advanced features like:
- Adding swing for a more natural feel.
- Assigning probability to specific beats, making patterns more dynamic and varied.
- Generating evolving rhythms that prevent repetition and bring life to your grooves.
Adaptive Timing
Unlike a rigid metronome, GROOVE ASSIST uses an advanced algorithm to keep the hi-hat or other triggered instruments perfectly in sync. It dynamically adapts to subtle tempo variations in your live performance by sensing the beats played on the dedicated trigger pad.
Footswitch Control
The four onboard footswitches provide complete control over your performance:
- Navigate through stored kits
- Control Groove Assist with ease.
- Pause or stop the assist function instantly with a dedicated footswitch.
- Switch between tracks in real-time—for example, moving from hi-hat to ride cymbal with a single press.

Each Floordrum Mini EVO is handcrafted using high-quality wood and custom-built electronics. We take pride in crafting every instrument one by one in our small, family-run workshop in Sardinia, Italy.
